Day 7 - Delco

This morning we walked to Delco Park to meet with an author and an artist. They explained that the author wrote horror books, the artist's background, and that they have worked together to make a coloring book. They explained Metots and that they're a combination of three animals that each represent something and showed some examples. We we each got a worksheet to chose three words that described us then used those to find three animals and make out own Metots. I chose calm, logical, and independant. I used a Sloth, an Owl, and a Shark for my drawing. After we made our Metots we came up with who the Metot was. This included where it lives and what it eats, and other things like if it has any natural predators and how it defends itself.

After this we ate lunch and were given free time in the park where some other people and I tried to skip rocks on the lake, then ran and talked more. At around one forty-five we left and walked about two miles back to school.
